If you are playing multiplayer (or single
player I presume) and pick up an overshield, during the time when it warps
the shield up, you are apparently temporarily invincible. I picked an over
shield up and accidentally shot myself with a rocket, onyl to find it did
absolutely no damage. This could be useful for executing rocket
jumping/grenade jumping tricks in multi, when you want to get somewhere high
without hurting yourself at all. For instance, in Battle Creek, you could
pick up the over shield, then quickly rocket the gournd underneath you,
catapulting you up onto the enemy base allowing you to go for the flag with
a full shield =). This has probably been posted before, but just in case =).

Hi
everyone. I was fooling around with Nemesis_007's temporary invincibility
trick and found it works in single player too. You should do this with a
friend in co-op. If you go to the top of the island, where the two hunters
and the two over shields are. Make a pile of grenages 32 or so. Bring the
jeep up and park it over the pile. One person through a plasma grenade and
time it so that you get the overshields and while there powering up, get in
the warthog as it explodes. The explosion should sent you into the
stratoshpere, alive.
